Alphonse Mucha in Malta

Heritage Malta shall introduce this famed artist to the Maltese public through a major exhibition featuring a selection of over one hundred works, including paintings, lithographs, sculpture, jewellery, photographs, drawings and other artefacts. On display shall be most of the key works intimately linked to Mucha including his first ever poster produced for Sarah Bernhardt and subsequent theatrical performances.

The exhibition In quest of beauty: Alphonse Mucha 1860-1939, and other related activities shall be held at the Salon of the National Museum of Archaeology, Valletta, between February and May 2011.

    To view the exhibition you need to buy an entry ticket to the National Museum of Archaeology. The prices are as follows:
    Tickets

    Adults (18 – 59 years): ?5.00
    Youth (12 – 17 years), Senior Citizens (60 years and over), ISIC Card Holders, EURO<26 Card Holders, ICOM Card Holders, University of Malta and MCAST Students: ?3.50
    Children (6 -11 years): ?2.50
    Infants (1 -5 years): Free

    The Alphonse Mucha exhibition will run until the 15th of May. Opening hours everyday (including Sundays and Public Holidays) from 9.00am till 7.00pm.
