Temporary Exhibition Venues

Heritage Malta has a number of exhibition spaces that are available for established and budding artists. As outlined in the Heritage Act 2002 (Article 4e), the Agency endorses exhibitions in order to “promote public knowledge, education and enjoyment of the cultural heritage.”

In this respect, the agency has a range of exhibition spaces under its custodianship in the various museums and historical sites.

These include:

– Auberge d’Italie – Melita Street (Ex Café La Veneziana)
– Ground Floor Hall – Malta Maritime Museum, Vittoriosa
 St. Angelo Hall – Malta Maritime Museum, Vittoriosa
– Front Courtyard – National Museum of Natural History, Mdina
 Inner Courtyard – National Museum of Natural History, Mdina
Inquisitor’s Palace, Vittoriosa
Gozo Area Office, The Citadel Gozo
Tal-Pilar Church, Valletta
