1942, WWII, Christmas in Malta.

What was it like?

Join a webinar to find out. View original documents usually stored at the War Museum, not usually accessible by the general public, and get a brief glimpse of Malta’s role in WW2. A reminder that harsh times (such as those we are going through right now) come and go and that the good times will be back.

Christmas has always been a popularly celebrated feast in Malta. During this event, we’ll discover how Christmas was celebrated in Malta during WW2. So log on and together we’ll take a look at original documents, photographs, and footage. Apart from that, we’ll turn back time and connect with an RAF Pilot in the course of a Christmas Dinner being eaten in 1942!

A webinar via Zoom for children aged 10 + and for all the family to enjoy.

A digital pack containing a postcard, booklet of the 1942 pantomime, the Christmas dinner menu, and ration cards will be sent to all participants upon registration
