On Saturday, 7th March, Heritage Malta is organising an exclusive event for its members during which they will have the opportunity to immerse themselves into the experience of the work being undertaken by the Agency’s Underwater Cultural Heritage Unit.
The event will kick off with a lecture at the Malta Maritime Museum in Birgu which will focus on the Unit’s work and its amazing underwater discoveries. Through the use of virtual reality equipment, participants will then be able to submerge themselves beneath the deep waters to view the mysterious depths of the sea and to discover the sunken cultural treasures of the Maltese Islands.
Tea and coffee will be served thereafter to conclude this intriguing event.
Time: 10.00am to noon
Admission is free. However, Heritage Malta members need to acquire a ticket from Heritage Malta’s museums and sites.
