Issue 4 features the archaeological heritage landscapes rediscovered at the Ġgantija Temples, the influence of the Italian Arte Povera of the 1960’s, the Ta’ Braxia Protestant Cemetery, an account on the MV Star of Malta, the story of a cannon as a gift, the Maltese cultural landscape development (AD 1100 to 1530), the rethinking interpretation at the Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum, the first HM participation in an international exhibition entitled Monaci in Armi hosted at Castel Sant’ Angelo in Rome, learning by objects through 3D digital imaging and printing and Public Outreach Policies for Maltese Archaeology and a special Interpretation Programme for students with different abilities at St Paul’s Catacombs. There are the recurring short articles on modern and contemporary art works added to the National Collection and the caring of artefacts through preventive conservation, while introducing snippets from the Heritage Malta archives. It also features a review on De Valette’s Dagger Exhibition.
